Milling can be used to remove just enough thickness to level and smooth a surface or to remove a full depth. It is a great alternative to repaving over the existing surface. Benefits include:

Milling recycles your existing asphalt parking lot or driveway, maintaining the base strength and minimizing haul-off and dumping costs. In many cases, a full-depth asphalt repair might not be necessary. For example, parking lots with minimal cracking and trouble spots that have good drainage otherwise and a strong base are prime candidates for asphalt milling.
Asphalt milling is an overlay process that makes your asphalt like-new again at a fraction of the cost of a full-depth repair. The process includes:
- We remove 1.5-3 inches of the existing asphalt from the top of your surface and haul it away using one of our full-size, state-of-the-art milling machines
- We then power clean the area to remove all dirt and debris
- Finally, our paving crew overlays new asphalt on top of the surface, compacted, and allowed to cool
